Here's my B. fascinotor. It has 3 more spikes developing too. Last year it just kept throwing spikes for a couple of months. I got this plant from Andy's several years ago. Since it was probably a division of a large plant, I'd like to find some pollen from someone who got theirs from a different source.

I've one which I bought mislabelled - I don't fancy this specie too much --- mine flowered a couple of weeks ago
 
A picture may not make a flower/plant appealing to us but they all have their personality when we own one!
 
Errrr, somethings a little asymetrical about that one, right? :confused:

I think you are seeing what looks like the lip is offset from the column?

It must be an illusion from the camera angle because head on the flower is laterally symetrical.

It's because its a fascinator!!!
