My favorite vanda type. Very prolific.

Very nice! Mine's in bloom now, also. It, too, blooms a lot, but I've been getting bud blast the last two flowerings.:(

For some reason I never had luck w/ ascocendas, vandas, etc. I have always had plenty of light.??? I grow, and flower, lots of tolumnia but vandaceous, no way. Anyway nice job w/ the Ascda.

Even though I have mediocre conditions for growing Vandas, the few that I have always bloom....well, 3 out of the 4 always bloom, especially at this time of year...Here is Vanda Kultana Blue.....the flowers are all 4" across....
The next is one I have had for at least 20 years....Ascda Pudtan x V. Rothchildiana...naturally, its smaller....
These photos actually make the flowers look a touch bluer than they really are...the Vanda is a bit more purple, the Ascda is a bit more lavender....Take care, and Happy Thanksgiving! Eric
