(Berenice x stonei) I don't know how/why these flowers developed those dry brown spots on the pouches and syncopal, but they were there as they opened.
Too bad -- the colors on this one aren't as deep as my others, but they are quite lovely, I think.

That is quite possible. I have it hanging above my head, so I don't usually see spikes forming when I'm watering.
