I should have included these in my last thread of miscellaneous, but oh well. Gojyo Fukurin is pretty far from being the most exclusive of the variegated types (to put it mildly), but I find the generally wide cream margins pleasing enough.

I have a screw loose for fragrant orchids, especially the evening/night-scented ones—that goes hand in hand with a lot of the white and green flowers that I tend to prefer. Anyway… Here is the most northerly of the U.S. epiphytes, Epi. magnoliae (Andy's has it as conopseum). It doesn’t get much less showy (the blossoms are minuscule), but I promise the scent in a humid evening more than makes up for it!

I love the Gojyo Fukurin leaves. Even if it never blooms it would be worth growing just for the foliage. As an added bonus, the flowers are beautiful.
