Phragmipedium pearcei var. Ecuadorense.

A while back, I posted what I thought was Phrag. caricinum which turned out as another Phrag. pearcei. (second photo)

Now the other one is in flower so we can all make comparisons.

Two goodies. Great pearcei with all the red in it. Shiva, can you tell if there is a size difference betweent the two? I have both blooming currently and the pearcei v pearcei is much larger then the ecuadorense.

Unfortunately the first pearcei is no more in flower so I can't compare directly. The var. ecuadorense I have now has a 9cm tall flower with petals about 6 cm long. The dorsal is 3 cm high (fully straigtened) and 1.5 cm wide. So now you can compare with your var. ecuadorense.

Ecuadorense is one of my favorite Phrags. But yours looks to be a darker and brighter green than mine.
