Yellow Tiger x Michael Koopowitz

This is Yellow Tiger "Ruth Luethans" AM/AOS x Michael Koopowitz "Alberta" AM/AOS. It is the first bloom for this plant, which was purchased as a seedling 6 years ago from Windy Hill Gardens. The plant has 3 healthy, blemish free growths, which I take as a sign of good disease resistance. Petals are 22cm on oldest flower. The flowers are not quite as dull as they are in the photo, but it is a gloomy day in the greenhouse, as it has been much of this winter. Mike

My seedling from you has been growing nicely.
It got more than doubled in size in just the first year I got it.

I think it will flower in the next couple of years.
What's the leaf span on this guy?
