Thanks to Heather Gaillot, I'm all signed in and ready to enjoy the forum.
For what it's worth, I like species, (and the older paph hybrids, like F. C. Puddle). If you take me out drinking, and get me nicely lubricated, I'll admit to growing a few compact cattleyas for home decor use.
I've been at the hobby for going on 45 years now (so I'm either precocious or really old), and have now been responsible for the demise of more plants than are currently in my collection.
My plants grow under lights (and I like to tinker, so am always "improving" my set-ups), and sojourn in the back garden in the summer (except for the heat-intolerant ones).
Finally, I live in the Philadelphia suburbs.
