First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Although I don´t like red wine at all, this guy drives me crazy.
It flowers every year and grows quickly (but only one growth per year).

This time the flower is even darker than the previous but the stem must have suffered some kind of problem while it was developing and reached only about 17 cm.
Flower NS: 10 cm.

I apologize for the poor quality of the photos but...as I´m not a very good photographer, I find really difficult to capture the real color of this flower using a black background.:eek:

It has no label (I asked the vendor about its parentage but I wasn´t very convinced so I decided not to "baptize" it.

Hope you like it!!

I had one identical to that one. I think it is called Paph. Noname':rollhappy:

I´m glad to see you like it. Thank U all for your words.

Looks almost black!

It reminds me of the Spinal Tap line ''How much more black can you get than black?... and the answer is None!, ...none more black''
Eaborne and Stone: Petals are almost black indeed. I try to keep this plant in shade and as cool as it resists (13ºC min.) in order to get dark flowers. It must be working. :)

Limuhead: thank you very much. That name convinces me much more than the one I was given by the vendor.
