A second one to flower for the year.
I knew it wouldn't be as big as my other one because the bud was much smaller at the same stage. It was very round and fat, so it was cute to look at.
There is a few days gap between the photos, the second photo was taken today. You can see the petals are starting to grow further horizontally.
The fragrance is the same as my other SFG, but much weaker.
Plant size is about the same, each leaf being about 6-9 inch long.
This particular plant was in low sheath for many months last year and then eventually it turned brown and died. A new growth quickly developed, and the spike on this new growth developed without any pause.
There is already a small new growth alongside the current blooming fan.
So, it seems like a good grower although the leaves are showing a bit of yellow near the tip.
