A lot of the food that we turn away from is actually very good for our health.
In a lot of countries:
-peoples eat insects as a form of delicacy instead of using insecticide. They don't ultimately poison themselves & get cancer as the result. The older generation of vietnameses eating fried silkworms, supposedly this keep your body very youthful, disease free, natural form viagra for both men & women without side effect.
But the younger vietnameses would not touch these food, they prefer the multi flavor Baskin Robin, as part of the self-cultural whitewash. Who is losing in this case?
-while we eat only the meat part and throw out the rest, peoples from other countries eat almost all part of the animals, less wasteful, getting many nutritious components for their body (this including brain, tendon, skin, blood etc...) I know, we probably choke to think of this now, but if we really are starving to dead or if we know that eating certain part of the animals help us avoid some deathly diseases, would we be so concerned of where do they come from?

Chineses use ants as medicine for thousands of years, how long do you think any of our modern drugs is tested & used before they find out the side effects. No way it could be compared to using by so many peoples of different physical constitutions as vast as the population of China?

P-Chan, snails are delicious!

Hien, we actually don't throw out the rest, in fact using animal matter mixed in the feed for animals may be the vector for mad -cow disease!
