Phragmipedium Ouaisne (Eric Young ‘Rocket Fire’ x dalessandroi ‘Acker’s Flamenco Dancer’)

I have bloomed maybe a dozen or so of the seedlings from a flask I received from Chuck Acker on 7/10/18 (gave away most of the rest, with a few laggards to go). They have flowered beautifully. I really can’t capture the depth of the colors with my iPhone, and this isn’t even the best one (just the one that is open today), but they bring me joy.

Over-exposed, but gives you a sense of the proportion to the plant. N.S. about 10.2. Grown in spagnum in a 4 inch clay pot.
