This cross is (Jason Fischer 'Katherine' AM/AOS x besseae 'Castroville') Which came from H.P. Norton, I am relatively pleased with the bloom for a single growth plant. Enjoy!

It almost looks like a besseae to me....and I realize it mostly is. I wondered if it is easier to grow, or how it differs from the pure species?
The color looks less orange red than the besseaes i have seen in pictures...is it really that bright red color?

Yay sargentianum hybrids!!
:rollhappy: Yay besseae hybrids too! What number tag is that from HP? I have a few plants w/ # tags only and would like to know if that's one. If not I may call Orchidview to see if he has any more.
