Following is another hybrid made with Phrag. Robert Palm flavum. This time I crossed it onto the species Phrag. longifolium var. hincksianum. The result looks very similar to Phrag. longifolium, but it is much nicer colored (in sunset tones) ranging from yellow, orange to red. The flowers are pretty big (about 14 cm across!), and the plants are just as vigorous as it's longifolium parent. Again this hybrid had already been registerd by M. LeDoux in 2004.

I like the colors. Very nice. I know I'm going against my former species snob self, but I think I like it better than longifolium.
