The color on this particular cross is really astounding. It's really impressive how deep and saturated the red is on the lip, and even the petals are vibrant. I think it holds some potential for breeding some deep reds with longifolium heavy influence introducing larger sized flowers with the richness of color meeting or exceeding that of the sargentianum / lindleyanum heavy breeding lines.
 
The cross is called Phrag. Nicholle Tower. The pouch is unfortunately deformed on your plant. Hope it will bloom better the next time.

This is a better example from the same cross (dalesandroi x longifolium). I actually like this cross better than Phrag. Eric Young (= besseae x longifolium).

Nice one.
The longifolium used must've been really black as night to get that rich colour.:D
