Just opened a few days ago. I have seen the besseae in better form. First time flowering for both,second flower on besseae
 
Straight besseae don't last long; maybe you should have taken the photo earlie. Thanx for posting anyway. I'm surprised to see that old OZ besseae.
 
I grow in a sun room with sky lights and a couple of big lights. The JF was a cross from a freind here in Ont and the besseae is from here also.

??? Mine's been blooming for about 4 months. Or do you mean the individual flowers?

The individual blooms are very short lived compared to some hybrids. If you get a sequentially blooming besseae that's an additional benefit.

Thanx for the correction Phrag Guy. 139 besseaes!?!? Wheeeeee!!! :crazy:
