Phrag feeding Question

Does anyone sprinkle their phrags with Organic Garden Lime as a supplement? Does anyone use Calimag on their Phrags or Paphs?

I would not sprinkle lime in the medium, as it’s likely to damage the roots it comes in contact with.

Calimagic is a better supplement BUT...

• Do you need to supplement calcium and magnesium?
• Does your water supply already contain them?
• Does your fertilizer formula have them?

Reminds me of the story that that sprinkling lime is recommended for some plants like ginkgoes, and someone asking how limes need to be squeezed....

Ray, I use the calmag because I use rainwater as much as I can. Don't like using city waterless I have to. Thanks for the reply.
