I had hoped for a little more color from Mary Bess, but the plant and flower has really grown on me since it first opened.
The plant is compact with leaves only about 12 inches long, but the flowers are large with nice twisty petals.
I will add another pic of plant and 2nd blossum when I get a chance.

(the ID on this is in question....looks like it might be just plain P. Demetria)

I like it a lot. It is so much nicer than plain Mary Bess. I love the longer twisted petals and I even like the color.

I like it a lot! Too bad about the identification issue. It sure doesn't look like it's got Mary Bess in it. Just call it Phrag. DIIK (Damned If I Know).

Looks a lot like a cross called Phr. Betheva - caudatum x pearcei, that I have seen in flower. They are referred to as a Mini "Grande"
The plant size and flower color / spike habit is very similar.
