Cool. My pulcherrima is in spike now, also, but I don't think it is that variety.

Yes! Normally I don't like peloric blooms but with this one it just gives a nice splash of yellow. It was actually supposed to be alba but I'm happy with the pink on it. After growing it for three years I'm just happy that it bloomed!

I'm not sure either...the parents were Yellow 2N x 4N.

I had Doritis pulcherrima var. champorensis. They are great plants.....don't take much room and give a nice show of flowers.
