Paphiopedilum villosum

First time flowering of this plant, that I bought as P. villosum var. amboinense. I've never seen that variety described? And with Amboin being a city on Papua New Guinea (the only Amboin, at least, that I have succeeded in tracking down), I wonder, whether it isn't a bit out of sorts? NS: 8 cm
