This is an unregistered hybrid from the Orchid Zone.

Paph tonsum x S. Gratrix

It strikes me as an unlikely combination that produced large flat flowers on fairly compact plants. The tonsum parent is 'David', probably the most famous of all tonsums.

Rick

Sure is interesting. Don't mind it at all. Whats the growth rate like please.
BTW tonsum 'David' must be famous in America only, never heard of it in Australia. Whats it look like ??

I like it. I have a 'David' which is a slow grower. I still have hope..........but it is running thin.

Thanks for the pic of P. tonsum 'David" its very nice. Shows a lot of P.tonsum v Curtisifolium in the flower. The pouch is a touch darker in David probably due to Davids parents.
