However, even if I cared for the AOS judging system, I don't believe this individual to be award quality. Like most emersonii, it has a cupped bloom. I'll try to illustrate with a photo later.

As far as provenance, I don't really know. I believe it to be grown from seed, but as with many Paph species, it's hard to tell.

As for growing conditions, I don't do anything special. I've been growing it for a good while, so it was bound to do something.

I'm not sure how big the average awarded one would be, and I don't care for this species, but I really like the look of this one, so maybe you should get it judged! :) We do always photograph our plants at their best angle though -
