One of the novelty types I keep coz they look good.

Would that be something you would use in a cross? For example, with something Macabre-like to improve colour and make the Macabre less bulky?
I've seen a couple of interesting venustum x complex crosses. What would this one do on a green or white standard complex?

Carsten, it would be the last cross I ever made if I crossed ths with a complex. I would probably give up orchids all together if I did. I would consider using it with good Maudiae type or sukhakulii type or for that matter maybe P.philippinense or hybrid thereof. A good lowii, haynaldianum or Toni Semple could work well also.

Very pretty flower, Roy. You're right about crossing it with a complex. I've seen very little that has interested me along that line.
