Hi, does this look like an emerging flower spike? If yes, how long does this species typically take to develop?

Mine took about 6-8 weeks to mature and open. So not too bad in paph timing.

Can’t wait to see your flower. Can a few of the members here give me an idea as to how large the plant needs to bloom? I think it was about a year ago that I deflasked some of these guys from Orchid Inn breeding.

I have seen them bloom with as little as 2" leafspan but usually it is 3" ls or more

It's the roots that matter. They need big root systems to bloom. A single fan should have at least 8 big, fleshy roots that completely fill a 2" x 3"tall pot. If they have that, they will bloom about a year from deflasking.
