This one started blooming about a week ago. It is a cross between P. Maudiae and P. glaucophyllum. It is now 10 years old. Each year it has 2 or 3 sequential flowers.

that is an interesting and appealing color for a maudiae type, and it made me wonder if something like that were selfed or back bred to another maudiae, if a new color form of pale pink maudiaes could be develodped. Do the breeders and more experienced growers know? Are there more problems selfing or line breeding or back crossing when you have parents or two different sub groups?
