I bought this as a division of Tinonee Orchids who imported this clone in from the US. They also said they flower it with 8 flowers to the spike. My followup growths are no way near as big as Tinonee (more than a metre across) which would explain my lower flower count.

I like it a lot as it is with its 4 blooms with those flaming dorsals!!! Since when do you grow the plant? Jean

I have had this plant for 3-4 years now. This is the 2nd time I have flowered it. I first flowered it 2 years ago with 4 flowers as well. I'm happy enough with 4 flowers. As the plant gets larger I might even get one or two more.

Thanks David....That's just what I needed to start this day,
great flowers and plant. Jim.

That's a really nice one and four flowers on the stem aren't bad anyway! Congrats to the photos.
Best regards from Germany, rudolf

Fantastic flowers!!! Awesome colour and presentation!

My plant is nowhere near this stage.. still at sheath... would have offered a trade in pollen otherwise...
