bellatulum 'Dalmation' x maliopense 'Spring Green'

Paph.%20Ma%20Belle.JPG

Registered in 1992, Paph. Ma Belle is the delightful primary hybrid grex between bellatulum and malipoense. The flowers are very large in relation to the size of the compact-growing plants, up to 5" across, and are typically green with mahogany patterning. Flower shape and petal stance are highly variable, from markedly cupped to almost perfectly flat. Some plants will inherit the weak stems of the bellatulum parent, while others may feature a light fragrance from the malipoense parent. Paph. Ma Belle appreciates bright filtered light, intermediate temperatures, and a light topdressing of crushed oyster shell. Well-grown plants are frequently bifloral.
