I've had this hybrid for a few years now. Blooms with 2-3 flowers per spike. (wilhelminiae X philippinense) And yes, I had to stake, otherwise I wasn't going to get all the blooms in.

Here is a closeup, not as good as it could be.

  FABULOUS!!! Nothing wrong with staking it!

Elena,
I want to say 2003 is when I bought it at our local show. It was 3 growths with one spike opening. Each growth puts out 2 new leads but they tend to grow at different rates so you have fewer spikes per year but a stronger plant. Good clone for making a specimen size plant! PS it's in a 6 inch air cone.

One thing about using wilheliminae, at least in this plant, is the weaker stems. If allowed to bloom unstaked the flower spikes tend to droop down as the flowers enlarge and open. Otherwise, every other thing is sweet about the hybrid!
