Not totally. The mix is 2/3 clay balls and 1/3 what i call ProMix. The promix was a popular phal growing media back in the 80s, 90s. Basically made of peat and styrofoam pellets. This promix is made from grounded up coconut husk.
Rick, this is a very elegant Paph. exul and the plant seems to be vigorous.

In the early days I lost several clones to rot in a bark mix. Back in 2017 while surfing the web on exul I came across a Thailandian repotting his exul. Sure enough, a clay pot, clay balls and what looked like local soil mixed in. I figured I could do the same. Apparently it works fine, I haven't repotted since 2017
