I received this paph in bud, which would (hopefully) explain why the bloom looks crumpled.

Probably so. The dorsal pinching is unexpected for this species.

No, but it came directly from Seattle Orchids, which sell on ebay as Incredible orchids. Good company.

I checked the tag, and looked it up online. It is from Lehua, "cheerful" x self.

I have a sib (or whatever) - that's why I asked. Mine has an extra black dot on the left petal. I hope it goes away next time. I have two more that haven't bloomed yet.

Interesting...same dorsal, so I guess mine didn't get that way from being shipped in bud.
