Orchid Show Chantilly France

10 days ago there was a show 50km north of Paris, and there was an exhibition of some plants of the national collection of the Serres du Sénat (french Senate Greenhouses), famous for their old collections of hybrids (some are more than 120 years old), and it's the oldest public collection of orchid in the world.

Plus you'll see a few paphs from L'amazone, in Belgium. Also plants from La Cours des Orchidées and La Canopée (France) and Roellke (Germany), though way less as the light conditions were really bad.

The Serres du Sénat will exhibit at the forthcoming EOC in London next April. Expect flowers…

Thanks guys and girls I still have the pictures of the last exhibition at the MNHN (natural history national museum) of Paris, but I have not found the time to care about the hundreds of pics… (2015 edition in February-March at the greenhouses of the Jardin Des Plantes in Paris).
