I got this micranthum from Windy Hill over a year ago. It set up a sheath in December and just sat there all spring doing nothing. Then the spike popped out and went to town in just the last month. The flower is still growing and opening up, but I may not have the time to get another pic for a while.

Mine is in bud now. I bought it last year in bud, which blasted shortly after I brought it home. I'm very excited after seeing yours. Hope mine is as colorful as yours.

Nice flower Rick. Do you have any plants for it? Breeding?

I'm thinking about it;) It has a new growth growing well, and the minimal poking into the pot looks like the roots are good, so I may self it unless I can find some unrelated micranthum pollen.

Better your micranthum blooms later than others than it doesn't bloom at all.
Very nice one !!
Best regards from Germany, GuRu
