They're about 9" today, I think that's as long as they'll get. I like the dark color & the spots on & inside the pouch are really neat. I switched this one over to the cypress mulch/bark this spring, hasn't missed a beat!
I got this plant from Grandma M, she had 2 & figured space would become an issue over time. She got them from Chuck Acker. Thanks Marilyn!!

It is a first blooming, there's another bud. The petals are now 9.5", it's catching up to Paul Eugene Conroy!
