first bloom roth

This is rothschildianum "Sam's Best" x "Canadian Club", purchased as a small seedling about 4 years ago. The natural spread is 22cm and the dorsal is 4cm. The flowers have good color, but the petals are a little short and thin. The big plus is that the plant has a leaf span of only 16 inches.

Good old school roth...but looks like this one reverted to the Charles E. x Borneo grandparents. Which in my eyes is still nice. Just one plant though, maybe others will show the Mont Millais side more.
