Crossing for purple

I know often it's a matter of bloom availability but, in my opinion a good cross for purple would be Phrag. Pink Panther [fischeri x schlimii] x Pk. Has anyone any knowledge of such a cross?

No, it has not been done yet (so far I know), but Yes I agree it would be a good cross, and probably one I would make if booth were in bloom....(That is why I already made Phrag. Fritz Schomburg x Pink Panther)

kovachii pollen is still hard to come by...we have some plants that probably will be blooming by next year for the first time.
