Chelonistele sulphurea

I should have taken a full plant shot. This species has a very nice spicy fragrance. It blooms off of new maturing growths. This is a warm/hot grower but does well for me in intermediate conditions. I have it shaded by some of my larger Maxillaria, so it get's bright shade. The plant is on the smaller side for a medium sized plant., about 8" with a 1.25" flower.

I have seen this sold at Cameron Highlands (Malaysia) and regretted not giving it a try... It is related to Coelogyne and send out quite many sprays during its flowering season...
