C. White Diamond 'Shogun Hawaii'

This plant was purchased from Shogun orchids in Hawaii back in June of 2021. First time blooming for me, and needs to be repotted. The lip was pushing up against the leaf when it emerged and I couldn’t rescue the bloom in time, so it’s left with a little kink. Next bloom.

Shogun Orchids website is dangerous $$ if you like cattleyas. All their divisions are so well grown and most come virus tested. Bonus, in my order they also included chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Great shape and colour Pete. I do like the shogun website with all their recently posted divisions. Some amazing clones, and many heirloom bow bells and Bob Betts divisions.

Except for the lip kink, what a beautiful shape...and wonderful yellow colouring of the throat! Really shows its good pedigree!
