I flowered my Bulb. phalenopsis earlier this summer in November. It has been a good summer for my big leaf bulbophyllums.

That's funny. I was going to say the same thing. It does
look like it would attract carrion flies.

Congrats on the blooming!! I see you like the large plant bulbos, you should try a bulbo lasianthum, they also get pretty big although the flower are smaller
