Bulbo. echinolabium

Finally got this one to bloom. I got it in 2002 as a NBS seedling. It has psuedobulbs about the size of a pea! Anyway it was worth the wait I guess. It has an awful smell, in my opinion worse than bulbo. phalaenopsis. The flower is about 17 inches tall.

The smell, to me, is a cross between very dirty socks and dead animal... but what a great flower!

That is a good size flower, and the next one coming up. I wish the flowers held up longer, but you get a good 1/2 dozen per spike.:clap::clap:

Pseudobulbs the size of a pea? Maybe more like a pear!?!
