It may not be the most colourful or large-flowered among the hybrids, but for fragrance, it is hard to beat! I guess the V. denisoniana in the background has done its job!

I'm with Eric - nice photo! It may not be, as you indicated, as brightly colored or large flowered BUT I'd take it for the FRAGRANCE!

The fragrance is reminescent of hyacinths but not as cloying
