Hello all,

I've been told that the noid is Dactylorhiza saccifera! Tom you were right about the genus...:)

Hello all,

Yesterday I went back to Mt Olympus! I reached 1500m altitude this time! The walking was tiring but rewarding..:) We had to go because of a sudden storm (very common on this Mt all year round) and a mysterious dense fog! But look what I found :)

1. Ophrys mammosa (maybe a hybrid)
2. Neottia nidus-avis
3-4. Listera cf ovata
5. Cephalanthera longifolia
6. Cephalanthera cf damasonium
7. Orchis sp.
8. Orchis sp.
9. This should be an orchid but I should ask to be sure... will let you know...:) I hope it will be in bloom next time i go..:)
10. I think it might be Anacamptis pyramidalis but I am not so sure...!!!

Hello,

For the record and against misinforming you, I've been told that the first one is Ophrys leucophthalma (a variety of O. mammosa with white petals) and in pictures 7&8 is Neotinea (Orchis) tridentata!!!!
