Rarely blooming in summer, the flowers are smaller and sulk (not a happy face lol from the side sticking tongue out of that staminode).
But I’ll enjoy it despite its sullenness 😅.

Just opening with two buds plus 2 more low sheaths. Strong grower, a division from Hillsview Nursery (Theresa) I got about 4 years ago. Still expanding and will get much larger (the name gives a hint lol).
Hopefully all opens together in a month?
