So I showed my plants all your blue labiatas on here and lo and behold, this popped out to join the party! The lip is really dark like sapphire and covers half the midlobe. Ceniza color too as all parts bluish esp. the sepals and petals. Sorry pics are side lined as it was behind a lot...

This year my labiatas grew very well and produced some lovely groupies lol. Tipo and semiconcolor (purpurea lineata). All heading to the Windsor show this weekend. Perfectly grown by DavidB.

A baby version of the ‘Goliath’ cultivar which was large (17 cm?). This particular flower has incredible shape with petals touching on top. The two petals form a tear drop at the center too. My plant blooming in Brazil. NS 15 cm.

Blooming with approximately 7 flowers on 3 leads, this 14 cm flower has light magenta brush strokes on all sepals and petals. Thus the name I gave it lol. My plant grown beautifully in GH by DBryan (in pic).

Secured from the Japanese collection of Wakayama Orchids, this beautiful variety has a beautiful white lip against a fluffy pink flower. Cara Blanco means white face. NS 14 cm.

This the the best flowering it has done since the five years I’ve had the plant. Flowers are bigger and fuller then before, about 16 cm natural spread. And the presentation is the most ideal this time. Way to brighten up the cold Toronto weather!
