Through SuperPaph (Alex) I met up with his friend Lorenzo in Cuba, who bred, flowered and registered one of the first hybrids in Cuba (named after his daughter). He’s since registered many hybrids in RHS.
The flower is brilliantly bicolored and blooms sequentially during their winter.

While I was visiting Cuba I made a special trip to visit an ST member SuperPaph (aka Alex). Alex went out of his way to pick me up from Havana hotel and brought me to his cute little town and showed me his Paph collection.
