  1. papheteer

    Cattleya trianae coerulea

Another species that bloomed 2 times this year. Love the Colors and the petals have improved. But I am not sure it’s enough for me to keep it this was her blooming with 2 flowers in may 2023
  2. papheteer

    Cattleya Dupreana ‘Kodama’

A primary of warneri and warscewiczii. Huge and fragrant!
  3. papheteer

    Cattleya labiata coerulea

Or at least that’s what the label says. It blooms 2 times a year so I doubt it’s pure labiata. It bloomed last April 2023. Loving the color tho!
  4. papheteer

    Paphiopedilum godefroyae (labeled as leucochilum)

A first bloom seedling from Orchid Inn, Dark Nebula x Purple Mane. A sister to @Djthomp28's plant. I really like the color and markings. Looking forward to future blooms
  5. papheteer

Paph. (Benkei x leucochilum) x bellatulum

This one has been in bloom all year. I think this is the 6th for 2023. Shape just keeps improving
  6. papheteer

Paphiopedilum (Bellatrix x bellatulum) x bellatulum

Small bloom compared to its usual due to recent repotting. I believe this is more than 80% bellatulum. It got the finicky nature from it.
  7. papheteer

    New flasklings

4 flasks I deflasked around march/april this year. 1 thaianum, 2 leucochilums, and one niveum that’s obviously mislabelled (far right).
  8. papheteer

    Paphiopedilum niveum

Paphiopedilum niveum that blooms on and off the whole year. Sorry for the crappy photo. Not easy to take one with the spikes flopping around 😂
  9. papheteer

    Phalaenopsis bellina coerulea

Phalaenopsis bellina coerulea. At least that’s what the label says. I’ve a feeling it’s a Samera. Very fragrant
  10. papheteer

Cattleya labiata coerulea x Hsinying Labiaka

Gotta admit, I’ve been cheating on my paphs with these flamboyant cattleyas… Cattleya labiata coerulea x Hsinying Labiaka. Big flower on short fat bulbs. The scent is heavenly! I just did a search. She’s 75% labiata, 12.5% warneri, 6.25% each walkeriana and pumila.
  11. papheteer

    Paphiopedilum concolor (??)

Paphiopedilum concolor. At least that’s what it says on the label. Many believe it’s a hybrid with leucochilum.
  12. papheteer

    Complex brachypetalum

Paphiopedilum (Benkei x leucochilum) x bellatulum. 4 more buds to go..
  13. papheteer

    Potinara Coral Gold 'Pacific Rainbow'

She blooms differently everytime. Faint soapy fragrance.
  14. papheteer

Blc. Chyong Guu Chaffinch x Pot. Little Toshie

Blc. Chyong Guu Chaffinch x Pot. Little Toshie. Started as light yellow. Now it’s faded to this peachy tone.
  15. papheteer

    Potinara Toshie’s Charm

An SVO plant that’s heavy on dowiana. Sadly no fragrance.. but that lip!
  16. papheteer

    Round Paph. niveum

My favorite Paph. niveum in my collection. Isn’t she just perfect? 2 more buds to open on this spike!
  17. papheteer

    Brachy foliage photos

Here are some photos to showcase the beauty of brachy leaves!
  18. papheteer

    Paph. Hung Sheng Thaianum

A cross of bellatulum and thaianum. Bought as a single growth plant a few years ago but now has grown into 3 multigrowth divisions. This is the first to bloom this year. The other 2 are in bloom / bud. Will post another photo with all 3 in bloom.
  19. papheteer

    Brachypetalum paphs

Why is it that not many people grow brachys? At the recently concluded Toronto orchid show, there were no brachys on display. And there were only 2 bellatulums for sale that obviously went home with me! Is it because people find the mostly white flowers boring?
  20. papheteer

    Paph. leucochilum x thaianum

Definite improvement over last blooming. Sam thinks it’s the best he’s seen of the cross. Not the fastest grower though
