I could use the same sentence as last year: 'It is the time again where the nearby place called 'Aarnescht' is in bloom, a hill covered with different local orchids. Here some pics I shot this morning:'! Almost everything is identical, except that this year I was too early or the locals are somewhat late :eek:!

So this is to be a first serie, and a next is to come:

I have to bring this one, because when I saw this stem, it remembered me of Bertil's art :D!

Excellent photos Jean!!! :clap:!!!! Try to get a photo of Platanthera when it is in full bloom..! :D
 
I did one more fine walk to the Aarnescht yesterday (+/- 12 km) and found some more nice blooms!

I met quite some Ophrys apifera (and hybrids?) in bloom:
