Fine examples of both varities. The purpurascens is what I have imaged it to be and not the "liltii" varity which we have seen here recently

Uri, I have question. What does the base of the purpurascens plant look like. A bluish of purple or blotchy purple that is distinct??

Yea -- I noticed that later. I was looking mostly at the color of the pouch. I thought the "straight" purpurascens' pouch was more purplish, not orangish as is mine -- and Uri's.
