At last after many months with no phrags blooming, one has decided to perform. This is a first time bloomer. Got this one from Jean-Pierre in the spring of 2008. It is my first 'green' phrag and I'm rather pleased.

It's beautiful Todd! Congrats on blooming it - the end of your dry spell! :D
Gorgeous photo too - I like the jaunty angle of the bloom.

One can see longifolium .........
and throw in some pearcei as OZ did & registered in 1996!

Oh I love it! I need a Phrag bloom myself. I'll have to admire yours for now! It sure is a beauty!

Great photo Todd. Green Hornet is a really nice plant.

Look what i did with mine. A new growth came very high. I asked my wife for a nylon stocking and of course she gave me a pair.
I took a piece and made a nest around the new growth and placed growth
substrate in the nest. I fastened the nylon with silver tape on the pot so the new roots must go right down. I did not want to replant it when it has two new spikes and an old with the 22:nd flower. It has been blooming since November 2008 on that spike.
