It would be nice to see the plant in comparison to something to appreciate it's compact size. :D

Well here it is in comparison to a regular longifolium that is in bloom. I didn't have time to clean up the plants but you can see the difference. The var. gracile is on the left and the typical form is on the right. The regular form has longer and wider leaves, a much taller inflorescence, and bigger flowers in this case.



 
Huge difference. It's crazy to see the flower by itself looking just like a regular longifolium and then next to the monster for comparison.
