Does anyone know if this cross in registered? It was made by Chuck Acker as CA667 (Inca Rose 'White Hot' x manzurii 'Waunake'). Anyone bloomed this cross?

How can an orchid be registered without a bloom photo? I thought that was part of registration???

No, apparently not.
Registration is with the RHS in England.
If you think about it, it does make sense not to require a photograph. If the first image of a cross is used, it is just that, the first image. So many other images may follow and several of those could be anywhere from slightly different to very different. It really lessens the importance of the first one.
