Pouch is a little funny but I love the color.

Why? Neither of the parents is a Pink.

Because you can make pink by crossing a white with a non-white standard. Some species has genes that prevent the expression of green or yellows. And because Pipink Rock wrote about this cross he was hoping for a pink flower...

Well, I like it anyway. It's a nice, fat flower and the colors are rather nice.

Acutally it has many qualities. It is rather compact for a complex and it bears 3 buds (not bad for a first time bloomer). So it is a very good grower (much better than my 3 Lippewunder...).

the second bloom is now open and the shape is better.

Looks good! Pink would have been neat but I really like how it looks.
